Rap artist NōB (Steven Judson) of Newark, New Jersey started playing around with music at the tender of 10, & started to take it serious around the age of 16 after his high school vice Principal, Ras Baracka (now the mayor of Newark, New Jersey) saw potential in him & started signing him up for music showcase & hip hop battle contest in the inner city… In one particular music contest sponsored by “D.A.R.E” & the Partnership for a Drug-Free America; Weequhaic High came in first place against every other high school in Newark, & the rapper representing Weequihic high was no other than NōB… Winning a cash price, studio time, honorable references & bragging right in Newark… After high school NōB went on to pursue a music career releasing a three mixtapes
