D. Carter is an artist, and by artist I do not mean the overused cliché of calling rappers artist to be politically correct type of artist. He is an avid sketch artist, who dabbles in film making, painting and graffiti, and has since elementary school. 

     Born and raised in Studewood, a neighborhood just north of downtown Houston Texas, Carter has seen many fail in their attempts to make life better for themselves through rap music. D. Carter hopes to be successful enough to return the things his neighborhood has afforded him.
